Burak Unal


Burak is an enthusiastic and hard working podiatrist who graduated from Latrobe University with a Bachelor of Applied Science & Master of Podiatric Practice. Burak has also completed a Bachelor of Biomedicine from Deakin University.

Burak has previously worked at Active Feet which is a podiatry based footwear store where patients are assessed on their foot type and provided footwear to suit their individual needs. He has also worked at I-Med radiology, assisting with after hours reporting where he has developed an ability to read and diagnose different types of imaging scans.

Burak prides himself on being a well-rounded podiatrist with a particular interest in musculoskeletal injuries, sports podiatry, surgery and general foot care. Burak’s friendly personality allows him to develop strong relationships with his patients to help provide the best possible solutions.

Burak comes from a big family who he loves to spend time on the weekend or loves to travel the world, when he is not adding to his large shoe collection.

Melissa ward is a Podiatrist at our Pakenham and Narre Warren Podiatry clinics.

Melissa Ward


Melissa completed her Bachelor of Applied Science & Master of Podiatric Practice (B.Hsc&M.Pod.Prac) at La Trobe University Bundoora Campus and has recently joined the Walk On Podiatry team.

Melissa was first introduced to podiatry and the positive impact a podiatrist can have on their patients’ lives as a number of her family members received treatment by their podiatrist for bunions. Further study during university sparked her interest in other areas of podiatry including sports injury prevention and management, diabetes foot care and overall general foot health. Melissa loves interacting with her patients and is passionate about providing foot health education and taking a holistic approach to care.

Melissa also works at The Athlete’s Foot and recognises the importance of biomechanics and footwear with regard to overall foot health as well as injury management and prevention.

Melissa loves learning and is always seeking to participate in opportunities to further her knowledge and skills.

Outside of work Melissa enjoys weightlifting at the gym, holidays to Bali and weekend brunch with friends and family.

Rebecca George is a podiatrist with expert knowledge in heel pain. Rebecca works fromo our Hastings Podiatry clinic.

Rebecca George


Rebecca completed a Bachelor of Applied Science/Masters in Podiatric Practice from La Trobe University. She has a very keen interest in many aspects of podiatry especially with; ingrown nails, general foot care, management of musculoskeletal injuries such as; plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinopathy. Performing Diabetes foot assessments and wound management is also an area of interest.

Early in her Podiatry career Rebecca worked as a podiatrist in a variety of GP clinics throughout Melbourne’s North. In her previous role, the language barrier was challenging but Rebecca learned to adapt and take different approaches with her patients enabling her to provide quality foot care regardless of the language they spoke. Rebecca has previously worked in aged care and nursing homes, maintaining good foot health and footwear for the residents.

Alongside podiatry, Rebecca completed a course in Sports Training and Exercise and has been working as a sports trainer at an amateur football club in Bulleen, since 2018. This role has provided experience with acute injuries, biomechanical assessments and rehab training.

Outside of podiatry Rebecca plays domestic Basketball and enjoys swimming. In her spare time, Rebecca, Tuesday night trivia with friends, keeping up with TV shows and doing something different every weekend, such as trying new restaurants or exploring areas in Victoria.

Sarah Guiney


Sarah Guiney completed her Bachelor of Applied Science & Master of Podiatric Practice at La Trobe University. She is passionate about all aspects of podiatry with a keen interest in dermatological conditions of the foot, diabetes assessment, management of musculoskeletal lower limb injuries and wound management.

Sarah’s goal is to achieve the best outcomes for her patients and return them to their daily activities pain-free. She strives to learn more about new techniques and procedures in the field of podiatry and loves interacting with every one of her patients. Sarah has had several personal experiences with a podiatrist and understands the perspective of being a patient, she even wears orthotics herself.

Outside of work Sarah likes to keep herself busy by listening to music and watching movies. Although no longer competing, Sarah has a background in swimming and dancing.

Soe Wai


Soe completed his Bachelor of Applied Science & Master of Podiatric Practice (B.Hsc&M.Pod.Prac) at La Trobe University, Bundoora Campus. Soe joined our team prior to completing his podiatry study and worked as part of our administration and reception teams. Soe has an interest in all aspects of podiatry however his special interests lies in the management and care of musculoskeletal injuries. He is also skilled in Diabetes foot assessments and management along with overall foot care.


Brendan Lord


Brendan completed his Bachelor of Health Science & Master of Podiatric Practice at La Trobe University, Bundoora in 2016. Once qualified, Brendan began working in private practice. For the last 5 years he has been based in a private clinic with locations in West and South Gippsland. Brendan is skilled in all aspects of podiatry.

Brendan considers himself an all-rounder in the Podiatry field. Whether you need assistance with general skin and nail care, ingrown toenails or nail surgery, diabetes assessments and management, diabetic ulcers, lower limb musculoskeletal pain and injury, or orthotic prescription, Brendan is happy to help. Brendan is also experienced using adjunctive treatment modalities such as dry needling and radial shockwave therapy to get the best outcomes for his patients.

Outside of work you will most likely find Brendan at the ‘G cheering on the mighty Hawks, camping somewhere along the Murray River, or hiking through the Victorian high country.

Tom Lewin


Tom Lewin completed his Bachelor of Podiatry at La Trobe University. He has a special interest in sports biomechanics and continues to advance his knowledge in this area of podiatry. Tom has completed a Level 1 Strength and Conditioning course and a course in dry needling and its use in the management of foot and lower limb pain.

Tom has experience in all areas of podiatry, with a particular interest in the prevention and treatment of lower-limb musculoskeletal injuries, footwear advice, general foot care, and wound management.

Tom enjoys playing high level competitive tennis, and has worked previously as a tennis coach. He also enjoys running, is a keen follower of all sports (especially the Tigers in the AFL) and cherishes his time with his wife and 2 children.

Catherine Lee


Catherine completed her Bachelor of Applied Science & Master of Podiatric Practice at La Trobe University Bundoora Campus  and has recently joined the Walk On Podiatry team.

Catherine has previously worked at Active Feet which is a podiatry based footwear retailer. Catherine credits her knowledge and skills in walking and running gait assessment to the time she spent working in store. This experience has also helped her develop her knowledge of running and athletic footwear to better help her patients and meet their individual needs.

She has a keen interest in all aspects of podiatry; especially in in-grown toenails, general foot care and management of lower limb and sporting  injuries. Catherine also enjoys assisting patients with diabetes-related foot care and wound management. Catherine enjoys interacting with every patient and helping them get back on their feet pain free. Catherine strives to achieve the best outcome for all her patients by taking a holistic approach to management. Catherine loves learning and is always looking for ways to improve on her knowledge and techniques in the field of podiatry.

Outside of work, Catherine loves to tick off items off her Melbourne based culinary bucket-list. She’s always looking for something fun to do in Melbourne but also loves to picnic and sit down with a book on beautiful sunny days.

Katie Marquis


Katie completed her Bachelor of Applied Science & Masters of Podiatric Practice at La Trobe University.

Katie’s journey in podiatry began with her fascination for the complexity of the body and how it functions. She has always been interested in sports and physical activity. Completing work experience at an allied health practice led to a mentorship role where Katie had the opportunity to experience what it was like to work in the allied health space as a podiatrist. This experience sparked her interest in podiatry and its crucial role in sports medicine.

Katie has a particular interest in helping educate and care for patients with diabetes. Katie’s other areas of expertise include lower limb musculoskeletal injuries, gait analysis orthotic therapy and ingrown toenail surgery. She also enjoys assisting patients unable to come into the clinic via our home visit program. Her holistic approach to patient care and evidence-based treatment plans have earned her a reputation as a trusted and compassionate podiatrist.

Outside of work Katie loves strength training at the gym, spending time with her dog and taking the jet ski up the Murray or out on the Bay. Katie believes in the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle and encourages her patients to do the same.

Kayley Baird


Meet Kayley, seasoned podiatrist with over 12 years of experience. Kayley graduated from Charles Sturt University in 2011 and has been living and working on the Mornington Peninsula ever since. She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our clinic. Kayley is passionate about helping people improve their health and performance. She enjoys seeing a variety of patients and treating everything from trimming nails to helping treat complex sporting injuries. Kayley is passionate about helping people improve their health and performance.

She prides herself on being a perfectionist and is always super keen to make sure her patients leave happy no matter how simple their problem. Kayley has a nurturing and empathetic approach to patient care. She is committed to advancing her podiatry knowledge and loves using the latest in technology as part of her management to provide the most value to her patients. It’s the compassionate care she provides that enhances the well-being of her patients.

Kayley loves living down the Mornington Peninsula as it’s an amazing place to raise her two young kids, who keep her very busy when not at work!

Sports Podiatrist Narre Warren and Pakenham

Adam D’Addazio


Adam D’Addazio completed his Bachelor of Health Science & Master of Podiatric Practice (B.Hsc&M.Pod.Prac) at La Trobe University. He has a keen interest in lower limb biomechanics, musculo-skeletal injury and management, orthotic prescription, diabetic foot assessment and wound management. Adam has completed courses in dry needling specific to the lower limb as well as lower limb joint mobilisation.

Adam has an extensive knowledge of footwear and lower limb mechanics having been involved with Active Feet where he provided footwear advice and prescription according to individual biomechanical requirements of his customers. Continuing to work closely with his contacts in the footwear industry allows him to stay up to date with all the latest technology in footwear, and being able to pass this knowledge onto his patients.

Outside of work, Adam enjoys playing competitive cricket and has been a part of two recent 20/20 premierships whilst narrowly missing out on a premiership in the longer form. He loves the outdoors especially, bike riding, fishing and camping.

Brad Dredge


Brad Dredge completed his Bachelor of Podiatry (BPod) at La Trobe University.  Brad has completed significant further education in the area of foot biomechanics & sports injuries, including completing a level 1 lower limb strength and conditioning course.

Brad has a particular interest in the area of sports podiatry, musculo-skeletal injuries and orthotic therapy. Brad enjoys the interactions he has with each of his patients and seeing their overall foot and leg health improve.

Although Brad longer longer plays football and cricket competitively, he continues to run to maintain his overall fitness.  Brad is a passionate fisherman and enjoys spending time outdoors, in particular at the beach, with his young family.

Dominic Sanó


Dominic graduated with a Bachelor of Podiatry (B.Pod) from La Trobe University in 2008 and has worked in private practice since. Helping our team of podiatrists improve their expert training in the diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle conditions is a passion of his so we can improve the quality of life of everyone that interacts with our business.

Dominic has been fortunate to have opportunities to further develop his knowledge and skills in biomechanics and lower limb sports injuries with senior podiatry roles with the Royal Australian Navy (HMAS Cerberus) and the Royal Australian Air Force (East Sale). Dominic continues to work with the Australian Defence Force to assess, manage and prevent lower limb and foot musculoskeletal injuries for the Navy at HMAS Cerberus.

Running footwear technology is another area of expertise having previously worked in the footwear industry. Dominic is also experienced in the management of various skin/nail pathologies as well as diabetes foot care and is highly skilled in ingrown toenail surgery.

Dominic is a proud father of two and loves spending time with his family. He has a background in football and soccer and although he is currently no longer playing at a competitive level, he enjoys running, cycling and keeping fit and healthy.
