The role:

This is a full time podiatry role at our Hsatings clinic. Last year we had a full time podiatrist with a busy caseload resign to take a job closer to her home in Melbourne’s North East. Our team has been able to maintain the caseload, ready for you to take over. This opportunity is for ideally an immediate start but for the ideal candidate, a start between now and Easter 2024. You would be stepping into an already busy caseload and not have to build a complete caseload from scratch.

In this position you will work alongside a team of leading podiatrists and an Osteopath in an awesome clinic in a quaint little town.

The benefits of working with us:

    • We have a fun working environment – we have regular catch-ups/events to bring everyone together outside of work
    • The hours required for this role are negotiable – anywhere from 20 hours to 38 hours for the right applicant (although our ideal applicant is wanting fulltime or close to full time employment) 
    • You will be stepping into an existing caseload, so some of your days won’t need much building
    • Your caseload will be made up of a mix of musculoskeletal injuries, shockwave, general foot and nail care and we can help you in building a niched caseload to suit an area of interest you may have.
    • Appointment lengths are 30min and 60min in duration. All initial biomech consultations are 60min and standard/follow up consultations are 30min.
    • Generous remmuneration package + bonus rewards. Your level of experience will determine your salary package. Our existing podiatrists’ salary packages range from a base award salary to upwards of $50 an hour 
    • Annual salary will range from $85000 to $120000 pro rata including your base salary plus all bonuses and entitlements (based on experience and qualifications) 
    • You will have access to an annual $500 professional development allowance which can be used on external PDs. You will also have access to internal formal and informal clinic mentoring.
    • Our clinical mentors are all highly skilled podiatrists with 45+ years of private practice experience between them. When first starting, you will have a weekly session with your mentor. Our mentors have reduced caseloads to ensure you get the best guidance to help you learn and grow.
    • All our clinics have a highly skilled admin team to assist you at all levels of your role, especially with patient  retention

For suitably qualified applicants outside Australia we are an employer registered to sponsor international podiatrists, but your podiatry degree must be equivalent to an Australian podiatry undergraduate qualification, and your skills, communication and command of the English language must be at an exceptional standard to be considered for this role.
