Are you living with sore feet? Then it is time to make an appointment at Walk on Podiatry Pakenham. With careful assessment our we will diagnose your problem, find the cause of your discomfort and design a course of treatment that suits you.

Our podiatrists have completed a four year university degree and specialise in all foot, ankle and lower leg conditions. Podiatrists are part of mainstream medicine and are often used by GPs when managing patients with foot problems.

Feet are a critical part of our lifestyle, it is so important that we keep them in the best possible condition for the long term. Whether you are a sports player, or an active family member, a senior or you have diabetes we are able to make sure that your feet are kept in top condition.

Making an appointment at Walk on Podiatry – Pakenham.

To make an appointment simply phone the Pakenham Podiatry clinic number on the left or our central booking number at the top of the page, during opening hours.
If you prefer please click on the Book on-line now button and make a booking at the clinic and time that suits you, with the Podiatrist of your choice. You do not need a referral from a doctor to visit our podiatrists in Pakenham.

Paying for your sessions.

You will need to pay for your consultation at the time of your appointment please.

  1. Private health cards: We work with the HICAPs system so if you have extras on with your private health insurance that includes Podiatry, then you can make your claim from you fund at the time of your appointment. You will need to pay for any Gap payment due.
  2. Medicare: will cover some of the costs of your consultation if you are eligible to be referred under the enhanced primary care (EPC) program following an assessment from your doctor.
  3. Veteran Affairs Australia: We accept DVA cards.
  4. Payments: We accept cash and major credit cards for payment.

Adam D’Addazio

PODIATRIST

Adam D’Addazio completed his Bachelor of Health Science & Master of Podiatric Practice (B.Hsc&M.Pod.Prac) at La Trobe University. He has a keen interest in lower limb biomechanics, musculo-skeletal injury and management, orthotic prescription, diabetic foot assessment and wound management. Adam has completed courses in dry needling specific to the lower limb as well as lower limb joint mobilisation.

Adam has an extensive knowledge of footwear and lower limb mechanics having been involved with Active Feet where he provided footwear advice and prescription according to individual biomechanical requirements of his customers. Continuing to work closely with his contacts in the footwear industry allows him to stay up to date with all the latest technology in footwear, and being able to pass this knowledge onto his patients.

Outside of work, Adam enjoys playing competitive cricket and has been a part of two recent 20/20 premierships whilst narrowly missing out on a premiership in the longer form. He loves the outdoors especially, bike riding, fishing and camping.

Sarah Guiney

PODIATRIST

Sarah Guiney completed her Bachelor of Applied Science & Master of Podiatric Practice at La Trobe University. She is passionate about all aspects of podiatry with a keen interest in dermatological conditions of the foot, diabetes assessment, management of musculoskeletal lower limb injuries and wound management.

Sarah’s goal is to achieve the best outcomes for her patients and return them to their daily activities pain-free. She strives to learn more about new techniques and procedures in the field of podiatry and loves interacting with every one of her patients. Sarah has had several personal experiences with a podiatrist and understands the perspective of being a patient, she even wears orthotics herself.

Outside of work Sarah likes to keep herself busy by listening to music and watching movies. Although no longer competing, Sarah has a background in swimming and dancing.

Melissa ward is a Podiatrist at our Pakenham and Narre Warren Podiatry clinics.

Melissa Ward

Podiatrist

Melissa completed her Bachelor of Applied Science & Master of Podiatric Practice (B.Hsc&M.Pod.Prac) at La Trobe University Bundoora Campus and has recently joined the Walk On Podiatry team.

Melissa was first introduced to podiatry and the positive impact a podiatrist can have on their patients’ lives as a number of her family members received treatment by their podiatrist for bunions. Further study during university sparked her interest in other areas of podiatry including sports injury prevention and management, diabetes foot care and overall general foot health. Melissa loves interacting with her patients and is passionate about providing foot health education and taking a holistic approach to care.

Melissa also works at The Athlete’s Foot and recognises the importance of biomechanics and footwear with regard to overall foot health as well as injury management and prevention.

Melissa loves learning and is always seeking to participate in opportunities to further her knowledge and skills.

Outside of work Melissa enjoys weightlifting at the gym, holidays to Bali and weekend brunch with friends and family.

Soe Wai

PODIATRIST

Soe completed his Bachelor of Applied Science & Master of Podiatric Practice (B.Hsc&M.Pod.Prac) at La Trobe University, Bundoora Campus. Soe joined our team prior to completing his podiatry study and worked as part of our administration and reception teams. Soe has an interest in all aspects of podiatry however his special interests lies in the management and care of musculoskeletal injuries. He is also skilled in Diabetes foot assessments and management along with overall foot care.
