We have a team of friendly podiatrists ready to treat all types of foot problems for families, seniors, sports players and people with diabetes at affordable prices. With careful assessment our Chelsea podiatrists will diagnose your problem, find the cause of your discomfort and develop a management plan that is specific to your injury.

Our podiatrists have completed a four year university degree and specialise in all foot, ankle and lower leg conditions. Podiatrists are part of mainstream medicine and are often used by GPs when managing patients with foot problems.

Feet are a critical part of our lifestyle, it is so important that we keep them in the best possible condition for the long term. Whether you are a sports player, a casual walker, a concerned parent or you are just struggling to care for your feet, we are able to make sure that your feet are kept in top condition.

Making an appointment at Walk on Podiatry – Chelsea.

If you prefer please click on the Book on-line now button and make a booking at the clinic and time that suits you, with the Podiatrist of your choice. You do not need a referral from a doctor to visit our podiatrists in Chelsea.

Paying for your sessions.

You will need to pay for your consultation at the time of your appointment please.

  1. Private health cards: We work with the HICAPs system so if you have extras on with your private health insurance that includes Podiatry, then you can make your claim from you fund at the time of your appointment. You will need to pay for any Gap payment due.
  2. Medicare: will cover some of the costs of your consultation if you are eligible to be referred under the enhanced primary care (EPC) program following an assessment from your doctor.
  3. Veteran Affairs Australia: We accept DVA cards.
  4. Payments: We accept cash and major credit cards for payment.

PODIATRIST

Kaitlin Campbell is an enthusiastic and committed podiatrist at Walk on Podiatry who holds a Bachelor of Applied Science/Masters in Podiatric Practice from La Trobe University. She has a strong passion for Podiatry with a keen interest in musculoskeletal injuries, footwear advice, general foot care and diabetes foot assessments.

Kaitlin previously worked at Active Feet, which is a specialised shoe store that provides footwear advice and prescription according your individual biomechanical requirements. As a result, she has extensive knowledge on all footwear types, which she uses to assist her patients in their diagnosis and management. Kaitlin loves working with all her Patient’s to achieve their goals, and enjoys seeing her patients overall foot health improve. Her goal is to provide the highest quality of treatment which will result in the best possible outcome for her patients.

Outside of work, Kaitlin loves to watch movies, go to the beach and play a very fun game of Social Netball once a week.

Dominic Sanó

Podiatrist

Dominic Sanó graduated with a Bachelor of Podiatry (B.Pod) from La Trobe University. As Dominic has a particular interest and passion in the fields of lower limb biomechanics, management of musculoskeletal sporting injuries. Dominic has undertaken significant further education in these areas including the completion of post graduate courses in dry needling and joint mobilisation.

Dominic’s extensive knowledge in biomechanics and lower limb sports injuries was further developed in senior podiatry roles with the Royal Australian Navy (HMAS Cerberus) and the Royal Australian Air Force (East Sale). Dominic is still currently working with medical and physiotherapy staff in lower limb and foot musculoskeletal injury prevention and injury management for members of the Navy at HMAS Cerberus.

Running footwear technology is another area of interest for Dominic as he has previously worked in the footwear industry giving him an in depth understanding of different types of footwear. Dominic is also experienced in the management of various skin/nail pathologies as well as diabetes foot care and nail surgery.

Dominic is a proud father of two and loves spending time with his family. He has a background in football and soccer and although he is currently no longer playing at a competitive level, he enjoys running, cycling and keeping fit and healthy.
