Paying for your sessions

You will need to pay for your consultation at the time of your appointment please.

Private health cards: We work with the HICAPs system so if you have extras on with your private health insurance that include Podiatry then you can make your claim from you fund at the time of your appointment. You will need to pay for any Gap payment due.

Medicare: will cover some of the costs of your consultation if you are eligible to be referred under the enhanced primary care (EPC) program following an assessment from your doctor.

Veteran Affairs Australia: We accept DVA cards.

Payments: We accept cash and major credit cards for payment.

Cancelling an appointment

If for some reason you need to cancel or postpone your appointment we prefer 48 hours notice, however a minimum of 24 hours notice is required or a cancellation fee will be charged.

IMPORTANT: If you fail to attend an appointment, a full fee will apply.

Under these circumstances please be aware of the following:

  • The appointment has been set aside for you. By failing to attend your appointment you do not give us time to offer the appointment to someone on our waiting list.
  • The cancellation fee is not eligible for Medicare or private health rebate.
  • You will not be able to book another appointment until the missed appointment fee is paid in full.
  • Future appointments will be cancelled until the fee is paid.
  • We send SMS reminders as a courtesy but it is not our responsibility to make sure you attend your appointment.
  • Cancellation and missed appointment fees are managed by our administration staff and not by your podiatrist.
