Corns and Calluses

Areas of increased pressure and friction may result in hardened layers of skin called a callus or corn. Calluses are a defensive mechanism that protects the underlying tissues. This pressure can sometimes become localised in a concentrated area and form a corn.

Our Podiatrists at Walk On Podiatry understand that conditions such as a corns, calluses and problem nails can affect your daily activities. All of our podiatry staff are highly trained and experienced to assess, diagnose and treat any general podiatry issues that may arise.
